A blade PC, also called a PC blade, is a computer that is entirely contained in a circuit card which is placed in a secure location like a server rack. A cable connects the card to the user's monitor, keyboard and mouse. A blade PC is a complete computer including the components you'd find in a desktop PC like the processor, memory, hard drive, video card and network card. A Blade Server is more expensive to implement, but less expensive to maintain, than typical networks where each station has its own box, since the cards and cabling must be installed prior to implementation.
